Four days in a jeep.

We made our way from Tupiza to Uyuni via an extended trip through south west Bolivia, sharing a jeep with two Irish cousins, and a Bolivian husband and wife who acted as our drivers, guides, and introduced us to top quality Bolivian home cooking. The scenery was stunning and ever-changing, and perhaps a bit too much to take in. On the second day for example, we began in snow, and ended in the desert. We saw many llamas, many flamingoes, the occasional ostrich, lakes, mountains, crazy rocks, a live volcano, cactus forests, and ended with a drive across the famous salt flats that cover 10500 square kilometres. More photos than usual with this entry, as we figured we’d let them do the talking.
