Poipet and toilet

Poipet is rhyme with ‘toilet” the guesthouse was a shithole. Since the border checkpoint closing at 8pm and I didn’t want to pay a hefty money for taxi to Siem Reap, I stayed at Poipet guest house waited for early morning the next day.
The next morning I shared a taxi for $12/person to Siem Reap. I was still week the night before from food poisoning that I check-out the guesthouse at 9am when the public bus leaving to Siem Reap already gone. The other usual transportation was by shared taxi . There were 3 Japanese boys who were waiting for another 1 spot before I joined in. I filled the spot and off we left Poipet to Siem Reap on a nicely tarmac road.
