This year, I think that I have found the perfect gift for my parents. Every year I struggle trying to decided what to get them. I usually like to do joint gifts, rather than individual gifts, but sometimes I think that I bomb as a gift giver. Last year, I gave them a couples massage, which they never used. I should have known that my dad wouldn’t go to a massage therapist. The year before that, I gave them an ipod and to this day it is still in the package because they never figured out how to use it. I live two thousand miles away, so I couldn’t show them how to work it and we ran out of time during the holidays for me to do so. This year, I don’t think that the joint gift that my husband and I are going to give my parents is going to disappoint. I am waiting to get direct tv cyber week and upgrade their television. They have a flat screen television, but do not have the HD service or the premium movie channels. I really think that my parent’s just don’t know how much they are missing. This will also be one gift that they can’t return of not use.
